The Nails in His Hands
In the New Testament, the word “nails” (plural)
appears in only one verse: John 20:25.
In this verse, all of the disciples have seen the risen Lord, save Thomas.
“The other disciples therefore said unto him, we have seen the Lord.
but he said unto them, ‘Except I shall see in His hands the print of the nails,
and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my
hand into His side, I will not believe’.”
The name “Jesus” Ιησους (Iesous) has a standard value of 888
Remarkably, the Greek word translated “nails” ηλων (helos),
also has a standard value of 888!
In this one verse, the word “nails” appears twice, both within
the same phrase “the print of the nails”.
“The print of the nails” has a standard value of 3358
τον τυπον των ηλων
3358 x 2 = 6712
In the Strong’s Concordance, H6712 is:
צחוק tsechoq {tsekh-oke'} meaning: laughingstock, laugh to scorn. . .
“And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him,
and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.”
Matthew 27:31
The phrase “the print” (τον τυπον) has a standard value of 1320, which is

“And when all of the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said,
‘The LORD he is the God, The LORD he is the God’.”
The double usage of the phrase “the print” reminds me of
the phrase “express image” found in Hebrews 1:3. . .
“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person,
and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself
purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.”
“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person”
ὃς ὢν ἀπαύγασμα τῆς δόξης καὶ χαρακτὴρ τῆς ὑποστάσεως αὐτοῦ

From the time that this Man (Jesus) began to preach, and to say,
“Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand”
unto the day they put the nails in His hands,
there is a warning of a day of darkness which is to come.
Matthew 4:17 is verse # 23,227

Even very dark, and no brightness in it?”

So far, we have examined the evidence found in the
New Testament regarding the nails in His hands.
But is there evidence of the nails in the Old Testament?
And, if so, will it point to Jesus of Nazareth?
Ezra & Isaiah
There are three verses in the Old Testament where the word “nail”
is used to describe the coming Messiah.
Ezra 9:8, Isaiah 22:23 & 25
“And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God,
to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a NAIL in His holy place,
that our God may lighten our eyes and give us a little reviving in our bondage.”
Ezra 9:8
“And I will fasten Him as a NAIL in a sure place; and He shall be
for a glorious throne to His Father's house.”
Isaiah 22:23
“In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the NAIL that is fastened
in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall;
and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.”
Isaiah 22:25
Ezra 9:8 is verse number 12,246
Isaiah 22: 23 & 25 are verse numbers 18,076 & 18,078

448 = 7 x 64
7 is the number of perfection, while

This is interesting because Jesus is called the Word of Truth and
the phrase “The Alphabet” (האלפביח) [“Ha Aleph Beyt”]

The sum of the three Old Testament verses Ezra 9:8, Isaiah 22:23 and 22:25
form the rays of the 48th Hexagonal Star Number.
(9 x 8) + (22 x 23) + (22 x 25) = 1128
“The King of The Jews”
The imagery above is that of Jesus wearing a Crown of Thorns!
Rejected and mocked by those He came to save, they said. . .
“We will not have this man to reign over us”
“We have no king but Caesar”
“Let His blood be on us and our children”
Luke 19:14 John 19:15 Matthew 27:25
But Peter spoke on the day of Pentecost, saying: “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”
Both Lord and Christ!
No longer “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews”, but. . .
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the King of Glory
and wearing a Crown of Glory!
